A short 200m walk away, the world famous Eilean Donan Castle is just across the road from us! As seen in Highlander and James Bond movies!	We can see The Cuillin from the B&B - the Skye Bridge (now toll free) is only 13 miles from us and hence a day trip or even 2 to this beautiful, romantic island is easy.
The picturesque village of Plockton, of Hamish Macbeth fame, is about 9 miles away and is a popular destination for visitors.	For the hill walker, as well as The Cuillin on Skye, there are many Munroe's within reasonable driving distance such as the South Cluanie Ridge, The 5 sisters of Kintail, Torridon and Beinn Eighe and even The Mamores, Ben Nevis and Glencoe are about an hour and a half drive away. More locally there is Glenelg, The Falls of Glomach and Shiel Bridge. Further afield is Applecross over the highest road in the Highlands and Inverewe Gardens.
